🍁 WHITE WINDMILLS AND PINE 🍁

🍁 WHITE WINDMILLS AND PINE 🍁
Stanza 1
Love bloomed in summer’s gold, when skies stretched clear
as glass—our eyes held all that light could keep.
We shared smiles sharp as sun on windmill gear,
and laughter that now cuts like falling sleep.
We called each other “Lao”; the blades spun near,
cheering loud where pine trees scented deep.
Songs we sang felt stitched to air and year—
a tune we thought would run forever steep.

Stanza 2
But clouds swept in like strangers through the heat,
and we moved fast as they did, turn by turn.
On bark and stone, we carved our vows complete:
“Not to let go—no tide, no fire, no burn.”
Yet the world leaned close, sharp with jealous feet,
and pulled us apart where paths would not return.
We parted slow, as seasons shift from sweet—
our hands unclasped, but promise still would churn.

Stanza 3
No matter what—if ground gives way to cliff,
if skies collapse or roads grow dark and thin—
I’ll reach for you through every rift and drift,
my choice as steady as the windmill’s spin.
Though distance stretches like a woven gift,
I’ll hold your hand in every thought within—
never to let go, not while my heart can lift
to where our summer still begins again...🌚✨ 02142026. ©LanZhan 安娜·梅·德拉·奇纳 안나 메이 델라 차이나...🇨🇳:1005:805:17
