Who are you when the narrative
depicted you as dark?
Who are you when
the shadow of corruption
as well as
The shadows of instability
Has cast a shadow of your own
In grow greatness?
Who are you when hunger Has been given a face
And that face is you?
Who are you when the mental shackles
That emphasize your inner ability
To own your own reasouses and wealth
Just refuse to come down?
I say you are the ones that have been chosen
Chosen to 're write
what was written by the narrative
Because just like me you are a world changer
Yes African young leaders
you are the ones
That will testify of the greatness
And the light of our African continent
By your art and works
The whole world will know
That Africa is no longer a sleeping giant
But indeed it is awake and open for business
The whole world will know
That we no longer see ourselves as
Island countries within the African continent
But rather as
A Nation with Citizens
Who are inter linked
And draw strength from
Collective collaborations
Young African leaders
Ladies and gentlemen
Once we learn
And engage with one another
Let us remain resolved in this fact
We are Africans and we are world changers.
