What did she do
To remind herself she's not with you.
She dragged herself out from under the ground.
To be reminded, your not around.
Every where she looks, she sees your face.
A masked imprisonment, a demons embrace.
When finally she could stand on her own.
A reminder passed on , she's not alone.
Darkness was her only friend.
She lived there til his end.
When she lost the only thing that she knew of.
That's when she gave up On love.
Growing wiser through the days.
Learning how to change her ways.
Loving who she has become.
Another challenge, had begun.
