why?

yo I been at this for a long time
but every time I get some money
I can not spare a dime
when I speak I try not rhyme
but do I have enough
time to think before I say
or just say it and not sprey it
what up with America
with have bills but no change
we have people we hundreds dollars
but we have people on the street that are broke
why do we wake up
why do we watch and don't speak up
why do we listen and not speak our minds
why do we have time for all these crimes
I speak for myself when I say cry myself to sleep
when I think there no mindset
I think because it reflects my actions
I still believe that if a man created earth then he can destroy it
if a man created earth then he can stop this
if a man created earth then he knew this would happen
he knew about my mom and dad
he knew about my brothers and sister
I wake up in the middle of night and speak to this man and he never spoke back
I try and try
I try and try
but it didn't work
this is not a game or some perk
if you believe stick to it
stick to the worshipping
stick to the praying
if that spread maybe he will come and save us
or maybe will we die in war
