How a COVID-19 Outbreak Could Affect Workplaces?
According to Osha.gov guidance article on covid-19 workplaces. The virus causes extensive outbreaks in the workplace because it can widespread from person to person, and multiple areas around the United States and countries as well can have an impact on the viral spread at the same time.
As a result, workplaces can experience “absenteeism,” meaning workers could be absent regarding their sickness. Caregivers for sick families, caregivers for children in school, and daycare centers if they are closed. People that have a weak immune system are at a higher risk of getting contracted with Covid-19 because of absence at work. Those that do have a weak immune system are afraid of going to work because of fear of catching the virus.
