Why are most of us failing artists?
Why do we paint a portrait that isn't reality?
So we can feel better about our plastic little lives that we create.
Rather than fixing what is wrong in our own lives first.
Social media has made it to where you can be anyone you want to portray yourself as.
Kinda feels like a naughty Neverland but nevermind..
Toxic we've all become.
Politicized and compromised.
Never wrong always in the right.
Your online rap sheet is bigger than the one in real life.
We can be dying on the inside and yet paint a "perfect life" on social media.
It saddens me when I see people do this and I know what I see on social media not to be the truth about your life.
I'm not saying air your dirty laundry out for the world to see either.
What happened to some privacy?
Have the self respect not to post pics of your half naked self for all your friends and family to see.
Trust me you are more beautiful a human being than what you see in the mirror or through a screen filter.
There is no need for a million selfies of just you.
You don't need to post about your ailments.
Or how your spouse cheated for that 100th time.
We all saw it coming.
My point here is have some respect for yourselves people.
Be real.
Be honest.
Be you.
