Down from a darken space i emerged
Where lights gets stolen and victories converged
Into a brighter world of bliss i foresight
A better world and better man i insight
Clashes of weapons raveges the earth
The blue water has turned red like the stories of nile
Only this time it wasn't the work of God but of man
The flowers hides her children under her root
To protect or reject, for she was afraid of both
Darkness sleeps deep within man's soul
For what pleasure is there in starving another
By gathering an ocean treasure without giving your brother
For he sleeps in the cold winter floor
While begging for a dime with his old crooked arm
Buldings crumbles from a distance in a box
Along the syrian street red lilies fills the stream
Words unspoken as the tears runs through
Listen you will hear a mother calling her sons inside
Inside the dark coffin, for everywhere is a graveyard
As darkness lingers near and the kids no longer plays
I shut my doors, close my pen and turn off the sounds of despair
I wonder and ponder as i set my own bed
If caged birds still sings and why i no longer hear them.
