She lay along the seashore,
Having dreams like never before.
They were supposed to tell everyone how they feel.
But nothing ever felt real.
They were holding back, the things they wanted to say.
The timing was never okay.
So they decided to go their own ways.
Against all odds, someone will pay.
Talk went around that someone was unfaithful.
Painful illusions, took its toll.
It doesn't matter anymore, who loved and who lost.
Somebody had paid the cost.
When you fall in love and somebody tears that heart right out of your chest.
It's never an easy task to walk away and know you have failed the test.
It's better to be hurt earlier then to go on thinking that, that is your soul mate.
It's sad, but you weren't each others fate.
Love is beautiful, between you and I.
Love is beautiful, so why did you lie?
