Why do we fight, with hearts full of rage,
In a world so vast, yet trapped in a cage?
We draw our lines, in sand and stone,
Naming the "other," forsaking our own.
Religion divides where love should unite,
Each claims the truth, yet all lose sight.
In temples and mosques, in churches and shrines,
We forget the soul, lost in the signs.
Racism festers, a wound left unhealed,
Judging by skin, where humanity's sealed.
We build our walls, high and steep,
Ignoring the tears that others might weep.
Nations arise, flags flutter and sway,
Borders built where peace should lay.
We speak of pride, of land and name,
Yet in this battle, we're all the same.
Why do we fight, when we could embrace,
The shared heartbeat of the human race?
In every eye, a story untold,
In every heart, a life to hold.
Let’s break the chains of anger and fear,
And listen to the whispers we refuse to hear.
For in every conflict, a lesson lies,
That love alone can bridge the skies.
