Why envy the wicked
when you are more precious than gold
why envy those who do wrong?
They are like a grass,
meant to fade away
and spring flowers
that soon wither.
Yet you still envy there ways
you are an image copy of the true intellect
you are saved by the prince of peace you once neglect,
yet you still envy.
You focus on what you don’t have
and forget what you have,
Failing to test the necessaries
that you have enough already.
Check your eyes from parasites
wash your mind in remedial
you can’t go further with that pride
spare yourself from downsides
Look at your right and left
appreciate the things you have there.
don’t create roots of greed
stop, that’s unhealthy.
Did you really think it’s a gain?
to have things on earth gains?
you fail to understand it’s only temporary
it’s cease easily in fire,
ends momentary
So put your trust to the Heavens
Do good and make even,
make His delight your goal
and he’ll give what your heart desires whole
