why would you want to follow your dreams
when all you have are nightmares
when you can't do anything but holler and scream
when you fall running you'd rather just die there
when you are told to stand back up on your feet
when you feel nothing and still need to fight fear
we're told when you're drowning to breath really deep
as if humans come with with free dive gear
I'm cold and I'm frowning I'll sit here and freeze
I want nothing more than to die here
