"What do you see that makes you wanna bruise me with your hatred? Was it not I you said completes you in your quest for a woman? Somebody to be your strength when you feel weak and beaten by the quarrels of the world. Yet you weaken me by the swinging of your fist, and the cruelness of your feet. Why me is what I ask? Why does your heart smile at lowest of my soul? Take away my pride, and disrespect my crown? What did I do to earn so many tears? Am I not the backbone to your back? The reason you want to succeed? The mother to your children? Why me is what I ask? You tell me you want and need me, but when you have no way to vent, you puinsh me with every bit of your being, bruising my eyes, crush my heart, leave lashes on my soul, and tears I'm so tired of crying, yet I stay hoping you'll see the woman you fell for in the beginning. But, for now all I can do is endure, asking God the question "Why me?"
