I sat upon a night so clear
looking up into sky
I see a star winking
at least it appeared to be
I gazed, and gazed for what seemed like an eternity
I see his face with in the star
he's smiling at me
blowing his kisses down on me
a sudden whispers in my ear
don't worry my love I'm right here beside you
I'm no longer suffering
I'm up here with your grandpa, and Jesus
I'm waiting for you, and until I see you again I love forever, and always amen
