The cold of Winter creeps in,
With frost covering the glass,
Retaining what heat still remains,
As we wait for this winter to pass,
We will shiver trying to escape,
Winters bite across our skin,
Bundling up as our attempt,
To keep the warmth thats within,
Snow may soon fall pure white,
Its beauty distracts temporarily,
Covering everything in its sight,
Cold now consumes entirely,
Icy spikes will precariously hang,
Melting slowly as we wait,
Anticipating the colds reside,
Hoping that Spring will not be late..
