Today is the twenty seventh of January

So much snow has fallen lately

Over a foot at least , more than last year

Seems like snow has been falling daily

Winter , go away

You have worn out your stay

Let's bring spring out to play

Big giant piles of snow all over the place

From the ploughs clearing the parking lots

Salt trucks have been extremely busy

Here and there I have been taking snapshots

The temperature has been below normal

Minus ten and lower for a couple weeks now

Factor in the windchill , it can be minus twenty

Only a few minutes outside will freeze your brow

I've had enough snow , ice and cold weather

This winter has overstayed it's welcome

Spring time can not come too early at all

Let's keep this weather for the penguins
