Without a Caravan

I wanted to gather up some friends,
Travel the roads and act like kids
But what I got was nothing grand,
Just the same place in a different land.
I heard things were better in the west
But take a wild wild guess...
It ain't much of shit.
Just mountains and sand.
And the dirty pacific ocean
On the California Beaches.
My dreams were ruined
Before they even started.
But I wanted to gather up friends.
I said.
The problem is,
I didn't have any of them.
And there's no place like home,
To me,
Than the Appalachians.
Except even there,
I'm nowhere.
I don't know
What I'd expected.
I guess just something different
Than
Eat, sleep, and shitting.
Something worth living
That
Would have changed my
Pessimistic thinking.
And now,
I don't even have anymore Dreaming.
But I still continue this journey;
'Cause the fights at least
Worth trying.
