If at first you don't believe
Don't practice to deceive
For the Lord He will you smite
In day or dark of night,
The Lord is the one to follow
When you feel down and hollow
Follow not the sinning herd
Open up God's Holy Word,
Many a false one will come and go
The wear gold and diamonds for show
They did come from the evil one
They'll ruin you when they're done,
Once I followed the wrong road
I carried a heavy load
On this road there was a crowd
Sinful talk they spoke aloud,
The Lords path is narrow and straight
Leading up to the Pearly gate
So no longer do I deceive
In Christ's salvation I believe.
