World of Joy

If I were in charge of the world,
Oatmeal would be no more,
No more Monday blues or allergy shots,
And Sara Steinberg, shown the door.
The nights would be brighter,
And the hamsters would be healthy,
Basketball baskets lowered,
For a game that's more stealthy.
Loneliness would be gone,
And cleanliness not enforced,
No more bedtimes or sibling fights,
And sisters, never forced.
A chocolate sundae would be a veggie,
007 movies G-rated for all,
Forgetful brushing and flushing,
In charge of the world, no matter how small.
If I were in charge of the world,
It would be a place of joy,
Where everyone could live free,
And be happy, oh boy!
