The life is full of expectations, but I don't have any to offer
My life is different, my heart's desires are unique
People always want you to live up to their standards
They want you to think like them, without caring about your feelings
They want your thoughts to be the same as theirs
But all you want is to live your life, free from their pressures
The world is complex, and we're all different
Expectations vary, but they don't understand that
Everything in life is different, and that's okay
Maturity isn't just about experiencing hardships
It's about the words that are spoken, the ones that linger
The words that cut deep, the ones that shape us
Words can be the worst thing, the most hurtful thing to say
They can kill people's spirits, and leave lasting scars
They can make us feel worthless, and bring out the worst in us
But they don't realize the impact of their words
They think they're right, and use words to hurt and control
But we want actions, not empty words, we want sincerity
The pain of words stays with us, it lingers forever
It's hard to forget, and easy to remember
Our lives are hard, and hateful, but we can't change
Even if we want to, our emotions are valid
The words kill us, slowly and painfully
They destroy everything, and leave us in pieces
But we try to rise above, to be better for ourselves
To love our lives, and love others, despite the hurt
