The cold war was a freezing battle
It was just as long as cold
but what did it matter
There wasn't any action to catch any eye
But the nuclear weapons
had everyone terrified
Nuclear weapons have one definition
To cause mass destruction
to an enemy of nation
This type of weapon in the wrong type of hand
Could do the worst type of damage
On the wrong country land
Luckily it didn't that never happened
For the people had fear
of the damage they'd be causing
Just imagine what kind of world it would be
If everyone dropped a nuclear weapons
And fled
No one would be left
We all would be gone
The world would be left
Just desolate and scared
Nuclear waste across the whole planet
Would destroy the Earth in probably
Less than a second
Could you imagine
Being threatened by another country
With a nuclear weapon
The whole country was scared
with nothing to do
The Cold War lasted more than 40 years
The main start with nuclear
There was some action
There wasn't many confrontation
Living in the world
Where we are afraid to do to war
Not much happens
When your enemies are trespassing
Just finishing the war
Left their country week
So we sat by
And let our enemies take land
Without a Peep
We tried to stop the Soviets
Without pushing hard
We already had a cold war
We didn't want it to turn hot
But in the end we did it
We finally won the war
How long did it take
Too bad so many people died
We were 40 years too late
