Because of that,

My laugh is strong and bold,
My eyes sparkle like starlight when I smile
I'm equal parts lover and fighter,
And I'm the most loyal girl you'd ever meet.
But over time I began to see
I did not need his approval
I didn't need him to decide
I see my value
And I won't Run and Hide
Please don't mistake your worth
As equal to the love you are given
That's the most inaccurate system.
