would you slap him even though he knew coming out takes ball that most men don't have?
If your son was gay,
would you beat the hell out of him and kick him out of the house?
Would you call your son a douche for being gay?
Would you still give him the talk?
If your son was gay,
would you make fun of his dressing in public?
Would you tell him to be proud of himself for being gay hence he is human no matter what?

I would have seen the signs
I would have noticed the walk and the talk
I would have the noticed the behavior
Yes, I would be mad
Yes, I would want to curse and scream at him
Yes, I would desire to tell him to stop.
But as a parent
I would hold back my anger to listen even when I dont want to
I wouldn't say I like it,
Instead I would still love him the same
I would hear him out,
I would be a parent still and share beliefs.
It wouldn't be a fight on who is right,instead it would be us talking to a point where we agree.

for that's not the right way,
it's a sinners way,
a cult that's followed today
