Wrecked Closure

Wrecked upon my crashing heart,
Full speed it collided with you again,
Wasn't watching where I was going,
Now twisted up in the rubble I fell in,

Never expected all this to come back,
A simple message and I was totaling out,
Back then all I ever wanted was closure,
And that's exactly what that message was about,

Swirled thick into what you had to say,
Feeling pressure from my heart relieved,
Never thought crashing could feel so good,
I underestimated the type of closure I received,

Soon found out the whole thing was in vain,
And you discarded every word that you sent,
Everything I thought would heal my broken,
Was retracted in your unexpected circumvent,

You said everything you sent was just implosive,
You were in a bad place when you wrote that to me,
And you didn't mean a thing that you said,
That you were just find without my company,

Its all fine and dandy that your happy and fair,
But all you did was remind me of how real it used to be,
Guess my unanswered questions are finally answered,
Does this mean I can put to rest that love inside of me?
