There's a day a called yesterday,
when I thought there was no today,
light seemed not to light up on my day,
I call it yesterday,
my cloak of faith got patches with each day,
That was yesterday,
getting the courage to fight back was hard,
But giving up wasn't easier either,
had my feet but I was on my knees,
I had my loudest smile, but,
Beneath I covered silent weeps,
I call it yesterday,
the tears of yesterday,
the pains of yesterday,
the failures I got each day,
But that was my yesterday,
And there came today!
