I can't change what happened
I can't even wish it away
Sometimes I try to pretend
But with me it'll always stay
Overthinking won't solve it
I just have to step back a bit
And take accountability
For all that has happened to me
Today seems to be a bit harder
My dreams seems a bit farther
To focus on what could have been
Wish for things that won't come again
I should be a much better person
After yesterday's trials and tests
Because of life-changing lessons
I have to give my utmost best
