Ice,
She is cold to the touch.
Fire,
For it is burning within him.
So different,
Yet so similar.
For they equal each other out.
But they may never touch,
It is a dangerous love.
They are forbidden by nature,
But they do not follow rules.
For them to be lovers,
Would be a fatal move.
She longs for him, as does he.
They make a promise, to always keep.
"For when we are dying, we must give a farewell kiss"
They would both leave this world,
With only a feeling of bliss.
On that first and final kiss, shall they be forever connected at heart.
One fatal day,
She begins to say;
"I think it is time, to say goodbye"
He nods,
With tears of fire rolling down his cheeks,
They hold each other close,
Her starting to melt away,
"Promise me you will be with me after this life"
He says,
She nods.
With a single kiss,
They both vanish.
With love like no other,
They accepted their fate,
Keeping their promises close,
For they shall be together,
In the after life.
