You look into his piercing eyes and see nothing through their window
with evil looking out at you, his body without a soul
time and time again you deny it because this was the one you gave everything to, this was your dream come true
you observe as his colors begin to show after years of what you thought would be happily ever after and together growing old
"why me" you think to yourself how you could attract someone so heinous
tears fall from your face as usual hes careless and shameless
you start to feel weak and tell yourself maybe you are
but there's just something inside you that won't let you fall apart
confused and distorted because he was the only thing in your life left that just had to go right
this dream you once visualized has turned upside down, a nightmare has taken over your life
you realize once you feel your at your weakest that it isn't you to blame
you feel fooled betrayed by life and it angered you past your pain
"I AM strong" you tell yourself with that spirit that wants you to fight
he wants what you have, he was never in it for love, wanting to eat your soul bite by bite
so get up, and know your worth
you learn things like this have to happen to be prepared for the worst, building strength from getting hurt
you learn to fight for you, and discover strength you never thought you had, all the heartache and saddness
you should be proud of yourself, you should see clearly now, nomore fog clouding your head
eventhough life tests your weaknesses, you start seeing in other perspectives
and even if you come out with deep cutts and scars, just remember they are your battle wounds, and remind you of who you are
