I saw my mother getting hit in the face
In every place
I saw my friends getting cheated on
Just because their man wanted to have fun
I knew of family members that got molested
As a result in relationship, stopped being interested
I don't have good memories of males
I have a lot of sad tales
Yes,I saw so much devastation
That I just ended up having a bad expectation
To the point I often said
"All men are bad" in my head
I thought I knew them all
Short,medium height or tall
Suddenly it was you beau
That changed my view
I never met someone that loves me no matter what
Even when I,'m cold or hot
You changed the view I had of men
Back then
There are men that are good
There are men, that do what they should
Now I know some men are different
And I don't need to be in disappointment
It was those bad men lost
That they couldn't see females true cost
