It's funny how things change
It's pitiful how I'm stuck in it
All desires seem to fade
All wishes seem to end
Of those days,
On that mountain,
Peaceful and clam
A flower so dear
Gracious as her ascent
With thy scent, so lustrous
Sooting and envious are her petals
Slowly blooming up from her bud.
I was there admiring her
Waiting for its full bloom.
Days passed with eagerness
Months pass and then years
Until the day, I finally assumed
That sweet bud to be in her glory
Waiting for me like I have waited
Spreading its beauty, calling me,
To that mountain, we once met
Alas! How wrong I was!
I couldn't trace her
I couldn't feel her scent
She was far gone to someone else's garden
But a cold tear drop felt and
A soft shaky voice awakens in me:
"You have woken up late"
