In my pocket lays the handkerchief, that was plastered with all my tears.
From the sorrow, grief and mischief built over the years.
We never ended it in good terms.
There was a lot that we needed to learn.
I never forgot how you left me, standing there in the rain.
You told me that you fell out of love, but i never got the closure I needed, I should have picked at your brain.
Now, I walk around thinking that this was all my fault.
Like as if i am in some kind of cult.
I was cleaning up all my old memories of you.
There were so many that I didn't know what the hell to do.
So I froze, my cell had rung, it was you.
Why do you have to come back into my life.
To bring more sorrow and strife.
I answered the phone,
But i can tell that you were not alone.
You leave me months ago, just to come back and fix what you did wrong.
I started getting strong.
I wish things were different, but they never will be.
When you left, I never did agree.
Now your back and your face is the last thing i need to see.
