You thought her love would kill your pain who could have guess
You thought years of abuse would not make you feel less
You thought you had love to give that you never received
You thought she couldn't tell that your heart was deceived
You thought that long painful road would lead to pleasure
You thought you were finally found the lost treasure
You thought it was the quite typical ordinary and the norm
You thought everybody like was this and you were not torn
KNEW
You knew she blamed herself for all my pain, sadness and fake grin
You knew you loved her so hard to show when you're emotionally thin
You knew bad influence raised you and was all you were taught
You knew she tryied to show kindness and love so you fought
You knew loving her was one of the few things that made you proud
You knew she was beautiful sunshine under your black cloud
You knew if she left you would regretted and wanted her to stay
You knew your depression and would eventually push her away
