Your broken reflection

You don’t really get me,
I pause my world just to stare at you intently,
Only to get a sassy reply of a questions about a problem with my eyes,
Or a please don't stare at me,
Ah my bad I say while thinking,  She don’t really get me….
Well allow me to tell you as simply as I can put it into words what so halts me,
I can look down the beauty of every branch of your family tree and see warriors with beauty as weapons of feminine majesty,
But you are such a puzzling condition on my heart so I study you avidly,
As the lineage of every black queen to ever stand on Earth to the time of Eden standing before me in shear air,
The puzzle of woman is the story of my life as a man and thus I love it, Loved since my eyesight begin, and never does it never end,
I will say love is never suicide in fall or dive…. that nothing has been as soft a landing or a drop so hard,
The river I wash, drink, eat from and swim...Some just want to take a dip, but I am your fish, Coral reef, ecosystem and Coast Guard of your resources,
What am I staring at...a Goddess I say,
Honey ebony brown eyes aka the trap that I find myself in everyday,
Yeah, it would be called risky to bet the house on it,
But my Momma always taught me to play to win so I aim to put a ring on it,
Father said a man’s word is his bond so I aim to put my name on it,
For you as my woman any size figure , a rose of your race, vastly beautiful in body and mind, I am your puzzle piece, only you make a picture worth view in life, if we come together, if we be Lego's I always can stack you on it,
Rather complete stacks, in fact, the kingdom is fit,
See you are officially where my buck stops,
Without you I am conflicted, aloof, distant, cold, empty, searching for something, lost, cliche but you complete me,
So even if I tried to find myself or a new way, I without you is forever is lost in every way,
Kind of hard to get brain to function without the beat of my heart,
So you float me through my life with the soundtrack that sometimes skips, the beat of my heart,
And if I told you this you’d say that I am talking crazy….
Damn, She don’t really get me,
Really if only you saw how you are so beautiful in my eyes, You believe too
So let me conclude the research of my head to toe studies of you,
From the swirls at your temples of soft curls of your Indian black brown baby hairs,
To blemishes after makeup is stripped,
Still beautiful,
To the seductive cut of your eyes,
Curve and pretty petite pixie nose,
Small heart shape lips that sweetly call and dance with your every word,
Stomach up to Boston shape….A beautiful reminder of the hearts we share,
So to any scar you bare from past, I have a record of care, grant you no slave obligation
No negativity, No control, equal vision, and never sexual objectation,
As not from rib but from same clay my yin copy,
East meets west but carribean black,
And while they lust for body,
I think it would be the most beautiful thing to have me and you in short supply,
Children of you and I,
That aside from being my family, having you in my family,
The legs that I love to see in anything,
The feet I rub after aches or long days,
And all I want is you,
I can still smell the perfume from the first time I held you,
The only woman I want my Grandchildren to call Grandma,
SInce the first time I laid eyes on you,
And I work harder to find a way that Stoic me can so revel in all the words said in action and emotion from title that I appreciate, the value, measure of a woman and I can't always just sum it up with a, I love you,
Alas she just smiles and giggles a bit at me
Then you bring up an argument from last week,
Are you kidding me….She don’t really get me,
So I will wait until you and future children are safely protected and rest in bed asleep,
And write you a poem so that you can see,
That you are as beautiful as my Daughter smile, as wanted as my son hug, as valued as one my dream cars,
Now we eventually will fuss and argue but if we didn’t it would be for one to completely walk over the other, be equal is the only way I wish to have you so I will fight to keep you at your best as a woman or better, on the balance of the level,
So know I will be as much a pain in the butt as the sibling battle with your brother's,
And I will never love another, Because I will never love anyone like you, so forget the first round, its round two,
with no bell this round til death in happily ever thereafter, because you are the beginnings and end to my every chapter with my good nights and good mornings after, at first sight from now to my life after. So I guess you're getting the love I only reserve for level of my Mother
So please don’t ask me what I am staring at but know that….I really love what I see,
And that is forever until the death of me…. Flaws, big, small, grey and all, And you say man you really love me don't you,
Always….
Now she really gets me.
