YOUR DYING DAY

A bright day it was
We rose with the sunset
To take the morning walk
Made plans for the day
And you said would take a nap
Then we would set off
And a deal it was
My heart glowing with anxiety
Of the fun we were yet to have
Time passed by, you didn't comply
I thought your late
So I came to remind you to hurry
But so quiet you lay
So cold and frozen your body was,
I didn't notice, perhaps I did
Violently I shook you
Yet you ignored me again and again
Terror embraced me, as anger filled me, how could you be so calm
How could you forget our promise
And why did your go with a debt
Couldn't you wait a little longer
Were you in search a hurry to rest
Did you hate me that much
All I could ask ,yet none you answered
I sat still besides you, speechless,
Heartbroken and disappointed
Yet you were sound asleep
I couldn't believe, you chose to go
Without saying goodbye at least
