That hapless morning,
Black clouds hovered above
And a light drizzle moistened the dessicated foliage,
It was that morning
You breathed your last,
Peacefully beside the window bed
Discerning your last sunrise
And the last flock of the hungry birds...
Your graveyard now still harbours your name..
In letters of shiny silver
Over the white marble..
In your eternal slumber
You lay beneath the browns
Between the mosses green.
Your voice...no more heard by mortal ears
Echoes loud inside me still..
Your lost fragrance
Still lingers on my nose..
Your graveyard is my favourite place-
For you live there...
