You're About To Die But Can You Work Tonight?

American's,
are so silly.
For,
they've seen,
the same homeless man,
on the street,
for years.
And still,
they go to work,
everyday,
die,
whilst constantly stating,
they're surviving.
Death,
on the way to work.
Death,
while on the job.
Death,
simply going to events.
Death,
simply attempting to be,
one in the crowd.
Oh,
death.
May such,
simply be tethered,
to being a,
citizen?
May,
one see more time,
if one,
isn't?
If,
one simply doesn't,
care?
Oh,
be there,
no american aware.
For,
these beings,
believe working means,
sacrificing.
That,
beings which own,
are actual.
That,
such is real.
That,
a dollar,
has more value,
then a simplistic meal.
That,
time is never free.
Nor,
the water,
the air one breathes.
That,
one must work,
everyday,
for a soulless,
country...
