You're just like your dad
always upset always mad
yeah she's funny but at what cost
no one sees the innocence lost
always talking but never heard
tears race down, her vision blurred
never enough but somehow too much
the need to feel the rush
the gush of blood dripping down her arm and leg
that then maybe the voices will leave from her head
There's a certain Beauty to it
though that's something noone would admit
For the thoughts of the heart outweigh the knowledge of the Mind
They say just stop, just get better but it's easy to think that if you're blind
Without knowing the comfort of a Broken heart
you're quick to blame what is or isn't smart
They don't know, they haven't felt or dealt with the immense pain, the kicking, the scratching, the gnawing and itching
All they hear is moaning and bitching
Well I'm sorry if my pain is too much for you
Or if helping me was too hard to do
I'm sorry if my cries for help weren't as obvious as the scars on my wrists and thighs
or the bags underneath my eyes
I'm sorry I say as you put the plastic bag over my head as a disguise
So I sit in the corner waiting for someone to ask but they never do they never will
So here I sit in my corner I'll be here sitting still
