The reason why you had to go,
We could've never thought,
You wouldn't be here one day.
We dwell upon your memories;
We hold them tight- to heart.
Thinking of your face-
Your very handsome smile,
That surely wrapped around your face.
We'd love to hear your laugh;
We miss it very much.
Now the Angel's sing;
A worship song of love.
While welcoming and sheltering you;
Your presence has them smiling.
We cry for you within the nights.
And think of you during our days,
For us it was so confusing...
Why did you have to go??? How come you couldn't stay??? I had longed to see you grow!
I noticed your voice had changed;
On your promoting day!
We all took many pictures with you,
And everyone was filled with joy!
We'd never thought you'd leave us;
Three months after this.
We'd love to hear you knocking,
I'd love to make you laugh- once more.
Just ike the many glorious days; right before.
I made you laugh so hard,
While you shook your head and smiled;
It's very comforting for me.
For awhile I couldn't believe it,
You not here with us,
It was all too much for us,
I still don't understand-
Why did He have to take you from us??? You're the kindest person ever;
I guess that's why He did.
I trust He has a reason;
Much bigger than all of this.
We started off a New Year;
Which didn't feel so new,
How could we be so happy;
To start a new.
I cried after midnight; thinking about you.
One day we'll meet again,
I mean it's not like you're not here;
You visit us quite often-
The front door just swings wide open.
We know you're saying Hello.
We have a tendency to say, "Come in Dyrell, sit here."
Your spirit brings us joy,
Your memory lives on forever;
Here within our home...
We call you our treasure!
Now you'll welcome us one day,
And show us all around...
