Our nation is no better than a sinking ship
Battered by the tempests in the many seas we travel through
The captains of the ship who promised to lead us home have since lost sight of the North Star that used to lead us
These people promised us safe faring but in truth all have plans to abandon the ship
Many of them even have speed boats and cruise ships loaded with the best of amenities
Leaving every common man to save himself and his loved ones
Then came an opportunity to transform this heroic dream into a reality
A chance to access life jackets and boats to further aid the quest to escape their harrowing present.
Some of these men decided that by all means possible they must survive right there on the ship
Even if it meant making the lives of others a lot more difficult
Other men found life boats with which they transported their loved ones unto safer lands
But not all the dwellers of these lands are glad to have visitors
While some others are quick to embrace the presence and prospective contributions of their visitors
These delightful locals choose to rather frustate and thwart the honest efforts of these immigrants.
