Look over there
See a veggie green?
That has a pleasant taste
Know what I mean?
Like a small bush
With growth aplenty
Share with you neighbors
There'll be more than plenty,
It can be long
Slender and firm
It's meat good for you, peals for
Your compost bacteria and worm,
This veggie will grow
Large to small
Unlike the corn stalk
Will never grow tall,
As you read my words
A thought might come to thee
For you, too, may desire
The tender Zucchini.
