Earth is a Woman

Earth is a Woman
Slowly comes the evening,
But the sun doesn't want to go home.
It tries its best to keep shining in the sky,
So bright—until it walks away,
Sad to leave, unaware of its beauty.

When night comes, when it goes,
Gone to sleep in the arms of the sea,
Painting the body of the waves,
Making their curves amazing to admire,
Tempting to immortalize,
Inviting to explore.

The atmosphere becomes intimate,
The air full of subtle caresses.
Hours of pleasure until it fades.

Slowly, everything goes silent,
Barely above a whisper, a gentle lullaby.
The stars are watching,
Trees are singing,
Humans are chilling, loving, existing.

Some of them are leaving this world—
Agonizing, peaceful.
Women—they're giving birth,
Trying to plant, and maybe
Get the fruit.

This darkness hides more than it seems.
