I remember a day, I was eight, maybe nine,
The first time I played that game so divine
To marry someone, just playing pretend,
But something awakened I couldn't defend.

I felt a strange joy, almost surreal,
A child’s dream, yet deeply real.
Since that moment, that playful scene,
I longed to live what I had seen.

Each time I witnessed a wedding vow,
I saw myself standing there somehow.
I wished for the day, I held it tight
And now it’s here, within my sight.

I don’t quite know just how I feel,
A little nervous but joy is real.
Yes, it’s true, my heart beats fast...
But I’m so happy this dream’s here at last.
