My color

Of an inescapable color, I was born.
As in a dark night ideas are more thoughtful,
This black skin covers important souls.
Used for mourning clothing,
it is given a protective virtue,
but it is also a color which brings a certain self-control and assurance.
I like this in my dark skin, Because it is the only heritage left by my ancestors.
