RESHAPE, NOT BROKEN.
How do I feel after failure?
Honestly,
not as defeated as others might expect.
No matter what happens to me,
no matter the setbacks,
I still hold onto that vision—
that certainty
of my future success.
Failures are not there to stop me.
They are only part of the process,
meant to reshape me,
to reshape my world,
but never
to destroy who I am.
For the future meant for me,
the one that has belonged to me
since the day I entered this world,
has never truly been in doubt.
Only time
has delayed its arrival.
So I remain patient,
and I try harder.
And even when I fail,
I know it is not meant to break me.
Whenever I fall,
I know there is something to learn from it.
Perhaps that is why
failure has never affected me
as deeply as it affects others.
I stand back up
without great difficulty,
and I tell myself:
“This is not meant to stop you.
Do not give up over something so small.
You already know your future.
And one day,
it will be yours.”
