Transformed & Elevated

I do not hunger for perfection.

What stirs in the hollow of my chest is something far more rare a soul who trembles at the thought of losing me the way I tremble at the thought of losing them. Not someone who dissolves like mist the moment life bares its teeth, but a presence who plants their feet in the wreckage and says: I am still here.

I ache for a love that does not only reach for me when I am radiant and whole, but descends into my shadows without flinching one that cups my fragility in gentle hands instead of recoiling from it. A love that does not flee the jagged edges of who I am, but traces them slowly, with patience, with the quiet courage of someone who has chosen to truly see.

It is not flawlessness I am asking the universe for.

It is a love that is lived weathered, tested, forged in the fire of honest days and broken ones alike. A love that does not measure itself by the silence of its wounds, but by the willingness to remain standing after the storm has spoken. To turn toward each other in the rubble. To choose again not once, not twice, but endlessly with trembling hands and open eyes.

A love that whispers, even in its weariest hour:

We are worth the fight.
