"she fell. so did I."
There was a girl in my life, and her life story was sad as hell. Unfortunately, she was also my crush. And oh boy—I had to work hard just to be her friend, because she had trust issues. She couldn't even trust God, let alone me.
I remember how her eyes looked hollow—like the heroine of some sad romantic movie. But me? The hero of this movie? I was the complete opposite. I was an extrovert, quite popular in school, while she was the gentle, sad, shy type, always minding her own business.
So as her friend, I wanted to help her. I wanted to unravel the truth behind why she was so timid. I started hanging out with her more, but she still told me nothing.
Then one day, by pure luck, she tripped—and she fell right on me.
What a romantic movie moment that was. I never loved gravity as much as I did that day. A thought flickered in my mind: How cool would it be if I could freeze time? Hehe.
That's when I realized—I fell first. And I fell harder.
(And she fell from stairs. Why is everyone falling in this story? Damn. Good old days.)
Anyway, fast forward—that girl is my wife now. Damn, my manifestation skills are real.
She's too precious for me. Sometimes I just wanna keep her in my pocket and hide her from the world. But she's the shiniest star I know, and I can't stop her from shining.
I'm cooked in love, man.
